Position Title: Associate Director of Oncology Pipeline Strategy

Anticipated Travel: 25% (Advisory Boards, Congress, Sales / Marketing Meetings, and Customer Meetings)

Position Summary: As the Associate Director of Pipeline Strategy, this individual will work in a highly matrixed environment to help shape the strategic direction and drive execution for company success across several gastrointestinal (GI), genitourinary (GU), and/or gynecologic cancer types.  This individual will report directly to the Senior Director of Oncology Pipeline Strategy.    

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Drives commercial strategy and success for specific cancer types, working closely with broader cross functional teams to create and support execution of a strategic plan that supports adoption across all stakeholders (e.g., academic and community oncology)

  • Serve as a critical member of the clinical pipeline teams to help define and prioritize key indications and develop a roadmap to fill evidence data gaps.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the targeted cancer space by integrating real-time customer feedback, publications, data presentations, competitive and market intelligence.

  • Define value proposition and messaging framework for targeted cancer types in collaboration with Medical Affairs and commercial marketing for Natera’s oncology suite of products based on clinical evidence and the competitive landscape.

  • Provide commercial insights to optimize the success of Signatera in specific cancer types.

  • Partner with Market Access to gain reimbursement for non-covered indications, specifically supporting the development of dossiers for submission to Medicare/MolDx & commercial payers.

  • Develop KOL engagement plans in collaboration with broader marketing and medical teams (gain feedback, develop deep relationships, build advocacy)

  • Co-develop and co-execute advisory boards in collaboration with medical affairs and other market research as needed.

  • Frequently present strategic plans and progress on goals to executive leadership.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, Advanced degree preferred (MBA or PhD)

  • GI, GU, and/or gynecologic oncology market experience strongly preferred

  • >5 years experience in product marketing, market analytics at a pharmaceutical / biotech company

  • Previous KOL management experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of oncology molecular testing / biomarkers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Ability to lead without authority, influence and inspire individuals

  • Proven strategic agility with an enterprise mindset and ability to operate with executive presence

  • Ability to partner and collaborate across a broad range of internal and external partners 

  • Strong customer orientation and focus, particularly establishing thought leader relationships

  • Proven ability to communicate the complex simply (biomarkers, multiple indications, etc.)

  • Strong organizational / time management skills; manage and complete multiple projects

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.Remote USA$133,600—$192,000 USD
