Position Overview:

As a leader in the healthcare industry, our company is dedicated to our business imperatives including premier digital, data, analytics capabilities. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Associate Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our custom field reporting solution, known as GATOR. This solution will empower our field sales organization with enhanced data-driven decision-making capabilities with high quality, low cost, and ever-growing internal intellectual property. Helping to propel our mission of saving and improving lives.

Responsibilities:

Direct the development of technical solutions that are secure, robust, performant, and scalable for GATOR in the field insights domain. Employ technical and thought leadership to drive products from inception to release, ensuring they align with the organizational objectives and priorities. Work with business stakeholders to define and understand business needs, ensuring that the solutions meet those needs effectively. Take responsibility for people development, resource management, and enhancing overall productivity within the team. Provide regular constructive feedback on performance and development- including contractors, addressing performance issues in a timely manner. Work closely with IT stakeholders to identify data needs and translate data into valuable insights that support business decisions. Integrate UI UX best practices into workstreams to design and develop meaningful and actionable insights for the business. Support training initiatives to enable the organization to effectively use and adopt field solutions. Demonstrate mastery of the product suite to design solutions that effectively solve customers' data-related challenges. Stay current with business intelligence (BI) trends and emerging technologies, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to implement relevant advancements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, etc.).
  • Proven knowledge in guiding the development of technical solutions, preferably in the field of data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Strong technical acumen and thought leadership to drive end-to-end product delivery.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of developing user-friendly reports and dashboards using visualization tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to investigate data issues and ensure data quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile development environment.
