Job Description Summary:

The Associate Director, Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping PTC’s corporate communications content strategy and story-driven communications. This includes managing the Corporate Communications content strategy and editorial calendar, ensuring alignment and pull-through across all internal and external channels and across U.S. and Global teams. This individual will work cross-functionally to ensure consistency of corporate messaging across content and communications materials, and drive multimedia storytelling that aligns with PTC’s Corporate Communications objectives.

The Associate Director will work closely with the Vice President, Corporate Communications, as well as the Senior Director, Product & Pipeline Communications and Senior Director, Corporate Communications on internal communications. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt quickly and professionally to change.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage an overarching communications content strategy aligned with the overall Corporate Communications strategy and objectives.
    • Drive creative and compelling storytelling across PTC’s content pillars that use a multimedia approach.
    • Manage the Corporate Communications team editorial calendar (Airtable), ongoing.
    • Manage and maintain the Corporate Communications photo/video library (Brandfolder).
  • Plan and manage the external PTCbio.com newsroom calendar.
    • Develop PTCbio.com newsroom content: plan article topics, gather relevant information, interview subjects, write stories, route for reviews, coordinate with website colleagues for posting on website, etc.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency of Corporate Communications messaging across internal and external channels.
    • Work with digital/website colleagues to refresh website copy and execute SEO goals as appropriate.
  • Write and edit Corporate Communications materials.
    • Drive and/or support the development of communications materials including presentations, press releases, messaging documents, etc.
  • Support Internal Communications activities.
    • Support weekly intranet content scheduling and content development/posting to SharePoint.
    • Conduct quarterly audits/reviews of Corporate Communications intranet page to upload updated foundational communications materials.
  • Support Product & Pipeline Communications activities.
    • Support development and execution of content/communications plans for relevant awareness milestones.
    • Partner and liaise with Patient Engagement team to implement patient storytelling approaches across internal and external digital channels.
    • Manage multimedia projects for patient storytelling (video, photo, audio, written) in alignment with the content strategy, including partnering with external vendors/agencies as appropriate.
  • Drive and lead development of Annual Reports and Corporate Sustainability Reports, including partnering with key stakeholders to gather relevant information.
  • Forge and maintain collaborative partnerships across departments.

Expected Base Salary Range:

$149,900 – $195,800 . The base salary offered will be contingent on assessment of candidate education level, background, and experience relative to the requirements of the position they are being considered for, as well as review of internal equity.

In addition to base salary, PTC employees are also eligible for short- and long-term incentives. All eligible employees may also enroll in PTC’s medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans.
