The Associate Director, Compensation will operate as a key member of our Human Resources organization, focused on compensation initiatives, with responsibilities including Americas, Europe, New Markets and LATAM. The Associate Director, Compensation will partner HR colleagues in the development and deployment of competitive strategies and objectives in compensation practices. This position will perform competitive market analysis, conduct job evaluations, participate in global compensation surveys and support the annual total compensation planning process
Essential Functions of the job:
Represent a point-of-view in key corporate compensation initiatives aligned with BeiGene's compensation philosophy and business strategic goals.
Perform as an internal consultant with BeiGene's business areas and advise on various compensation issues, such as job evaluation, FLSA exemption reviews, compensation analyses, pay equity study, and total compensation reviews.
Conduct market analysis and perform research to support compensation decisions and program recommendations to ensure a competitive pay position (internal/external) to attract, motivate and retain top talent.
Participate in annual salary surveys to submit compensation data reflective of Americas, Europe, and New Markets pay.
As part of an enterprise-wide project, collaborate with Human Resources globally, external consultants, and business leaders in the review and development of a global job leveling structure.
Perform analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of requested alternatives.
Participate in annual compensation planning analysis and reporting within the Workday Advanced Compensation module.
Responsible for market analysis, grading/leveling and classification of all new and modified roles in Americas, Europe, and New Markets.
Prepare reports and perform extensive analysis of compensation data.
Monitor market trends and evaluate external competitiveness of company's salary administration programs.

Computer Skills:
Strong PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel).
Proficient in Workday
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of relevant and progressive work experience, or 6+ with Master's
Experience in Biotech or Pharma preferred
Must have very strong communication and customer service skills
