 The Associate Director, Agile Coaching Coaches, educates and mentors organizational leaders and their teams to instill a scaled, successful enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies and practices including Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Associate Director, Agile Coaching requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

The Associate Director, Agile Coaching work includes creating tools and leading training sessions to demonstrate how leaders and associates will apply Agile methodologies in their day-to-day work. The job guides an organization through the transition and drives continued adherence to optimal Agile work practices. Promotes a culture of innovation by implementing Agile processes and principles which include techniques to increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and velocity. May provide on-going iteration management for high profile initiatives to provide real-time coaching as well as to gather and share Agile best practices across the enterprise. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s) and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 6+ years of technical
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Ability to collaborate with senior-level clients to identify, define, and plan solutions to address business challenges
  • SAFe SPC certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to facilitate learning and collaborative negotiations
  • ProSci certification (ability to manage change)
