What’s unique about this role?

The role of Associate Director, Information Governance is unique because it encompasses leadership and strategic responsibilities in three primary practice areas: eDiscovery, Records and Information Management, and legacy data migrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, the ability to mentor and coach junior team members, and a robust executive presence. Additionally, the role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Purview technology and extensive experience with deploying, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Purview solutions across various organizational environments.

 

What will this person do?

  • Lead and manage analysts, consultants, and other staff responsible for delivering eDiscovery consulting services to clients, including overseeing the implementation and management of eDiscovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, with a specific focus on Microsoft 365 Purview eDiscovery tools 
  • Lead and manage analysts, consultants, and other staff responsible for delivering Records and Information Management consulting services to clients, including overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive records and information management strategies that align with organizational policies and industry best practices, with a specific focus on Microsoft 365 Data Lifecycle Management and Records Management tools 
  • Lead and manage analysts, consultants, and other staff responsible for legacy data migrations; guide and manage the migration of email and file archives, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Lead the successful completion of projects by fulfilling milestone deliverables and ensuring that target profit margins and budget objectives are achieved. 
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Client Engagement: Lead client engagements, working closely with Project Managers, Associate Directors, Consultants, and Analysts to meet project requirements.
  • Strategic Practice Development: Contribute to strategic discussions and initiatives aimed at expanding the Information Governance practice.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed documentation, including project plans, architecture diagrams, and status reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Support, as needed responding to RFI/RFPs, client demo’s, assisting in proposal preparation and pricing

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with implementing eDiscovery, information governance, or data protection programs and managing large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to eDiscovery and records management.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and manage conflicts to successful resolutions.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work within timelines and adapt to changing workloads.

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Lighthouse complies with compensation disclosure requirements for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.

 

The expected pay for this role will range from $110,526 to $175,000 per year.  This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
