As an Associate Creative Director, Art (Social) you will be:

  • Leading social-first creative strategies that drive brand storytelling across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, with an emphasis on short-form video and design-forward content.
  • Crafting concepts for real-time cultural conversations through creative visuals and ideas that respond quickly to trends, ensuring brands stay relevant and innovative in a fast-moving social landscape.
  • Collaborating with the Creative and Account Teams to craft strategies that resonate with target audiences, leveraging platform-specific trends to engage users authentically.
  • Developing moodboards, creative benchmarks, and POVs as part of the discovery process, aligning design direction with client goals, and presenting these as strategic deliverables.
  • Driving concept-to-execution oversight for digital and social campaigns, ensuring design work across multiple clients remains consistent, innovative, and true to brand identity.
  • Brainstorming and executing ways to elevate social content, blending conceptual thinking with hands-on design execution to ensure that creative output stands out on cutting-edge digital platforms.
  • Fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the team by mentoring designers, providing constructive feedback, and promoting an environment where new ideas are encouraged and explored.
  • Collaborating across departments with designers, copywriters, social strategists, and other creatives to ensure a cohesive, multi-disciplinary approach to campaign execution.
  • Ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality and creativity by reviewing and approving final deliverables, while jumping into the design process when needed.
  • Staying ahead of social media trends, particularly in short-form video and user experience, to inform creative direction and strategy, making sure the work remains fresh, relevant, and culturally resonant.
  • Reporting directly to the VP, Group Creative Director and working together to craft future social products in collaboration with the other departments.

Requirements

Experience you have:

  • You have 6-8 years of experience in a social-first creative environment, with at least two years in a senior design role. Experience in a social agency or in-house social team is highly preferred.
  • A portfolio showcasing your mastery of design across social media platforms, with a focus on short-form video and design-forward storytelling.
  • Proven experience leading design projects from concept through to execution across a variety of brands, with a keen understanding of engaging with cultural moments.
  • You’re passionate about storytelling through platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
  • A strong collaborator, you’ve worked closely with copywriters, social strategists, and project managers to develop cohesive creative campaigns.
  • You have an expert understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma while not being afraid to pick up a camera or dive into in-app video content creation when needed.
  • A big bonus if you bring a strong understanding of sports and tech spaces, with the ability to craft engaging content that resonates within these industries.

  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 (Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, skills, and abilities.)
