Associate Attorney
California
We are seeking a California licensed Associate Attorney with a background in Immigration law to join our premier law firm. As part of our Post-Conviction Relief team, you will gain experience handling cases involving motions to vacate, expungements, early termination of probation, and other PCR matters. You will also collaborate with colleagues across both criminal and immigration practices to ensure clients receive comprehensive representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on their legal rights in post-conviction relief matters, including motions to vacate, expungements, and early termination of probation.
- Manage a caseload of post-conviction relief cases, with possible immigration implications.
- Attend hearings on behalf of clients and provide advice on case strategy post-hearing.
- Handle criminal cases, including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas, and sentencing, as needed.
- Analyze the impact of criminal convictions on immigration status and provide advice as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys, legal assistants, and staff.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions related to post-conviction relief.

- Must be licensed to practice law in California.
- Experience handling criminal cases at the state and local level (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
