Guy Carpenter's North American Strategic Advisory group is responsible for providing valued, differentiating insights to our clients around their own growth, capital, and volatility management strategy.
We are seeking candidates for the following position based in our New York, NY; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; or Philadelphia, PA offices.

We’ll count on you to:
- Creatively solve challenging problems
- Quickly and proactively develop and expand your expertise in:
- Actuarial science: insurance industry knowledge and data wrangling skills
- Programming: Python, SQL, Streamlit, and Django
- Our software toolset: Excel, DataBricks, PowerBI, and MetaRisk
- Assist in presentations to clients and prospective clients
- Develop innovative solutions for clients, prospective clients, and client team members
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least one actuarial exam passed
- 1-5 years P&C (re)insurance experience
- Good interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good relationships, working well as part of a team and for presentations and discussions
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills for complex communications with GC colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Desire to take ownership of proposed and assigned tasks and to seek assistance when needed

The applicable base salary range for this role is $84,700 to $155,400.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
