Let’s talk about the role

We’re looking for an Art Director who will work in partnership with Copywriters and other team members to create conceptual ideas, design, and execute assigned marketing initiatives involving new product introduction, advertising, direct and digital marketing, product marketing, corporate image, brand identity and experiential techniques that meets the goal(s) of a given creative brief.

Reporting to and partnering closely with Associate Creative Directors and or a Sr Art Director, this hands-on role requires a track record of creating conceptual design solutions for physician/patient audience that drive growth for the business. You will contribute to elevating our creative solutions to world-class, award-winning levels while producing measurable results against business objectives. Collaboration across regional and global teams, amongst all creative disciplines and with agency partners may be required.

  • Contribute to concept creation from initial development through refinement of direction and final execution including sketches, storyboards, graphic concepts, wireframes, prototypes and final deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Visual and Graphic Designers, Production Artists, Animators, Web Designers, Photographers, Motion Designers, Videographers, and similar roles within external agencies.
  • Provide creative ideation of high-quality, conceptual, visual design projects.
  • Participate in creative kick-off meetings, brainstorming sessions and client presentations.
  • Inspire and mentor junior designers to help them grow and improve their skills.
  • Present work among peers, colleagues, managers and stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of ResMed audiences and their journeys to identify ways our creative can be most effective in driving results.
  • Build strong, trusted partnerships with peers.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence that enables best-in-class creative.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Let’s talk about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in art or design.
  • 5+ years of professional design experience in advertising and marketing creating campaign concepts and materials.
  • Strength in creating campaign concepts that flow seamlessly across channels including both print and digital formats.
  • Solid understanding of design and design principles including layout, typography and color theory.
  • Strong command of print production including solid comprehension of digital file management and preparation for commercial print production.
  • Experience partnering with content and other creative disciplines to create consistent brand experiences across all touch points.
  • Mastery of primary Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and Figma.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and Teams.
  • Experience with project management systems such as Asana and Workfront

Preferred

  • Knowledge of HTML 5, CSS and ActionScript a plus but not required.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. 

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance. 

Base Pay Range for this position: 

$91,000- $113,000

  

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
