Are you passionate about supporting field teams and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment?

Your role:
We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized Area Inventory Specialist (AIS) to join our team. This remote position plays a crucial role in managing audits in a specific geographic region, ensuring work is distributed efficiently, and audits are moving toward timely completion. Acting as the key liaison between premium auditors and insurance carriers, the AIS balances operational oversight with front-line communication.

In 6 Months, you will:
  • Oversee and manage the progress of audits in your assigned territory.
  • Assign work to auditors, weighing factors like geography, skills, workload, and audit volume.
  • Track audit inventory, maintain detailed records, and respond to high volumes of emails.
  • Provide guidance and support to auditors, answering questions and offering administrative insight.
  • Serve as the first line of employee relations for auditors, supporting efficiency and communication.
  • Review and approve timecards, meal breaks, and expenses (primarily for California based auditors).
  • Ensure audits are progressing with up-to-date notes and are on track for timely submission.
  • Create and present weekly, biweekly, monthly, and quarterly audit reports.
  • Participate in onboarding ("Boot Camp") to gain in-depth knowledge of auditing processes.

What you need to be successful:
  • All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration.
  • 2-5 years of experience in operations, auditing, insurance, or a similar administrative support role.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to track data and generate reports.
  • Familiarity with Nexus or other audit/operations platforms (preferred).
  • Comfortable with a reactive workload and shifting priorities.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and the ability to problem-solve with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Your Benefits and Perks:
  • Eligible for all medical & dental benefits on Day 1.
  • 401k with employer match after 12 months of employment.
  • Generous PTO with paid holidays and floating holidays.
  • Remote work flexibility.
  • Development & growth opportunities.
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture.
