The role
As an Apprenticeship Coach, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. A modern high tech Army needs highly trained men and women to keep equipment working. The role of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) is to do just that; maintain, repair and manufacture equipment to keep battle winning aircraft, tanks and weapons in fighting order. This includes the fleet management of over 50,000 vehicles, ranging from quad bikes and generators to main battle tanks.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll visit Vehicle Mechanic learners within their workplace using your vocational experience and knowledge to deliver learning, coach, assess and support them to achieve their apprenticeship.

 

  • Support, motivate and coach all learners through their apprenticeship programme, ensuring all components of the apprenticeship programme are completed in a timely manner whilst meeting awarding organisation, ESFA and Ofsted requirements 
  • Monitor and review learners inline with the customers expectations 
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed to the correct standard and within agreed timelines 
  • Provide portfolio building advice and guidance to learners based on the requirements of their programme 
  • Effectively record, plan and track individual learner progress in accordance with agreed paperwork and reporting processes

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, offered on a 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract, and is fully remote. There is a requirement to travel to locations including, Market Drayton, Stafford, Bedworth, Oakham, Nottingham, Coventry and Hereford four days per week.

Essential experience of the Apprenticeship Coach
