What is the role about?
Analytik Jena US, a company of the Endress+Hauser Group, is looking for a Chemical Analysis Applications & Service Engineer to join our team in the East Coast of the United States. Position will be based out of the successful candidate’s Atlanta, GA area home office.
Which tasks will you perform?
- Customer site preventative maintenance, service, installations and chemistry applications of instruments, perform IQ/OQ on ICP-MS, ICP-OES, EA and/or TOC analytical instruments
- Diagnose instruments via remote diagnostics and phone support
- Perform customer training and run chemistry samples to support Analytical instrument sales
- Cover primarily the Southern and Mid-Atlantic regions; cover other regions as needed
What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):
- Bachelor Degree or higher in relevant Chemistry or Biological sciences or engineering, such as Biochemistry, Biomedical engineering or other relevant majors
- 2+ years of experience servicing chemical analysis instruments
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform instrument maintenance and repairs
- Overnight weekday travel ~ 55-70%
You may have (preferred):
- Experience servicing or using ICP-MS, ICP-OES, EA and/or TOC preferred
- IQOQ, GMP and/or GLP knowledge helpful
- Will train Lab Chemist who has ICP instrument user experience, who has aptitude and attitude to service instruments in the field

The anticipated pay range for this role is $80,000 to $85,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary depending on the education, skills, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
