The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

Application Portfolio Management (APM) Lead within the Digital function, responsible for: 

  • Establishing a unified, foundational Application Inventory to promote data quality, visibility, and integrity 

  • Creating a standard taxonomy to classify applications aligned with RTX’s ServiceNow CMDB data model 

  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure effective application lifecycle management  

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Application Portfolio Governance – Establish and apply governance frameworks and standards to ensure effective application lifecycle management, compliance, and alignment with strategy. 

  • APM Tooling Implementation & Management – Implement, and maintain Application Portfolio Management (APM) tooling (i.e., ServiceNow APM) 

  • Data Management & Analytics – Ensure accurate and comprehensive application data by defining metadata standards, integrating sources (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.), to enable data-driven decision-making 

  • Application Rationalization – Conduct portfolio assessments to identify redundant, obsolete, or underutilized applications, optimizing costs, reducing technical debt, and improving efficiency. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance Committees – Work with Digital leaders, enterprise architects, and business unit application teams to maintain governance structures, define application ownership, and drive strategic decision-making. 

  • Technology Roadmap & Continuous Improvement – Develop and evolve the APM strategy and roadmap. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years applicable experience or equivalent with at least 3-5 years of S2P Applications and procurement experience including: 

  • Perform S2P Applications configuration/maintenance

  • Knowledge of Procurement and Material Management within S2P processes with focus on systems support.

  • Knowledge of technical solution development process and system integration techniques to include process flow diagram preparation with strong analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills strong written and verbal communication skills

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
