We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Utilities Coordinator to join our team! If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a knack for numbers, and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes—this could be the perfect fit for you.
What You’ll Do
As a Utilities Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the setup, closing, and maintenance of all utility accounts across our dealership network. You will also ensure timely and accurate posting and payment of utility invoices. This includes monthly auditing for overlapping service dates, one-time charges, miscellaneous fees, and misapplied payments. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for all utility providers, ensuring uninterrupted service for our dealerships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with utility vendors and service providers.
Set up and close utility accounts across our dealership network.
Audit and maintain a utility spend database.
Reconcile utility accounts and verify accurate payment application.
Prevent service interruptions and avoid overpayments.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal teams.
Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with utility account management or Accounts Payable (AP) processes preferred.
High attention to detail and ability to work with urgency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, active listening, and critical thinking abilities.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience in billing and collections is a plus.
