ANR Test Engineer - AISG

Remote Worker - US Only

Job Type Full-time Description

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a fully remote Test Engineer to join our team for an exciting and long-term program supporting a US government program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Responsible for designing and implementing test strategies and procedures for application functionality and corrective actions.
  • Working closely with developers and other members of the project management team to ensure that the business systems perform to the software specification requirements.
  • Knowledge of software testing tools.
  • Ability to write automated test procedures.
  • Possess excellent communication both verbal and written.
  • Works closely with senior level team members to provide support as necessary.
Requirements

Candidate must be US Citizen

Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US government Common Access Card (CAC)

Candidate must have 5+ years' experience with the following:

  • Testing strategies
  • Executing test cases and building reports based on findings
  • Understanding IT systems being tested

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Ability to understand existing application functionality to be able to understand and test various use cases for new and modified modules, provide feedback to developers and other team members.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working on US Air Force IT projects.

Work Environment

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
