ANR - Software Test Engineer - IGEMS/MICT

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a fully remote Software Test Engineer to join our team for an exciting and long-term program supporting a US government program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Develops software testing plan and executes software tests.
• Measures test results according to predetermined guidelines.  
• Coordinates with software team in an agile or scrum environment to track and respond to work items.  
• Finds, documents, and assigns work priorities to software bugs. 

Candidate must be US Citizen

Candidate must have Active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum

Candidate must have Bachelor's Degree

Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US government Common Access Card (CAC)

Candidate must have 7+ years' experience with the following:

• Designing, creating, and implementing test strategies.
• Evaluating software via manual and automated methods. 
• Inform contractual performance areas such as software releases (to include system design, testing, quality assurance), training, and cybersecurity. 
• Writing test cases and scripts. 

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Experience working within the Agile SDLC Framework. 
• Experience with automated testing solutions and strategies.

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
