ANR - Helpdesk Specialist (AISG JDRS)

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) currently seeking a candidate to work as a remote, full time Helpdesk Analyst on the AISG program. The candidate must reside near (2-hour commute) of either Dayton, OH, or Montgomery, AL for possible onsite requirements. 


Candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following job duties:

  • Supervises and/or coordinates and resolves activities of Helpdesk Technicians or Representatives engaged in assisting computer users with hardware and software questions and problems.
  • Fields telephone calls and e-mail messages from customers seeking guidance on technical problems.
  • Diagnoses the nature of problems.
  • Assists customers through problem solving steps.
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves information systems problems to minimize down time of applications and personnel.
Requirements

Candidate must be US Citizen

Candidate must reside/work remote within a 2-hour commute of Dayton, OH or Montgomery, AL

Candidate must have active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

Candidate must have 3+ years experience with the following:

  • Working as a Helpdesk Technician
  • Assisting users while providing good customer service
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues.

Desired skills, knowledge, & experience (preferred, not required)

  • High School Diploma
  • Helpdesk escalation experience

Work Environment

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
