ANR - DevOps Expert II - EBS OCI

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a top-tier DevOps Expert to join our industry-leading, cloud computing team working on a very important, long-term program. This role is fully remote, and the duties and responsibilities are below, but not limited to:

• Build, script, and test Compliance as Code to apply security configuration(s) to cloud resources upon (or after) deployment.
• Provide cloud service expertise to cloud-deployed applications, assisting application developers with integrating application-specific components into available cloud services.
• Write CaC and IaC for both cloud native service deployment and for hosted application deployment to cloud services (AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Lambda, Azure App Services).
• Secure cloud service and application resources according to industry standards and cloud provider best practices and collects and provides evidence for security baseline adherence.
• Prepare operating instructions, compiles documentation of IaC when necessary, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of IaC intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Work within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, and utilizing sprint tracking software to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.

• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate must have minimum Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Candidate must have CompTIA Security+ CE or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Candidate must have 10+ years of related experience in Cloud services
• Specific experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Deployment automation via OCI native capabilty and/or third-party tooling (e.g., Terraform)
• OCI service configuration, deployment, management, and troubleshooting

Preferred Skills:

• Desired experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (design, implementation, testing/validation, support/maintenance,
• Applicable Oracle Cert desired but not required (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect or Certified Associate)
