We are looking for an Annuity Coordinator to support our Insurance and affiliated Annuity Desk teams. This roles plays a vital role in our Centralized Solutions Groups, supporting advisors and internal teams with expert insurance and annuity guidance. You’ll contribute to the success of our centralized insurance and annuity support structure and assist in providing innovative, client-focused solutions.
As a key contributor to our team, you’ll assist in providing outstanding support to advisors and clients, managing annuity and insurance related tasks, and contributing to the ongoing success of our Annuity Desk and Insurance Department.
This entry-level role offers hands-on experience, growth opportunities, and the chance to develop expertise in annuity products and strategies.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $65,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Advisor Support and Client Services
- Direct partnership with Advisors to provide clients with a start-to-finish concierge service for annuity analysis and review, policy implementation, and ongoing servicing
- Assist in providing advisors with insurance and annuity analysis, policy implementation, and servicing support
- Develop knowledge of Variable, Fixed, and Advisory insurance and annuity products to act as a resource for advisors
- Utilize quoting tools to support product selection and integrate solutions into client portfolios
- Collaborate with advisors to provide clients with tailored insurance and annuity recommendations that align with long-term financial goals
Annuity Desk Support and Operations
- Work alongside senior team members to refine process workflows, service standards, and operational guidelines for the Annuity Desk
- Contribute to creating tools and resources that support advisor education and client engagement
- Support team operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning
- Develop tools and resources to support advisor education and client engagement
Knowledge Development and Industry Collaboration
- Stay informed about trends, regulatory changes, and products in the insurance and annuity marketplace
- Partner with team members and external stakeholders to enhance education and service offerings
- Assist in developing educational materials and content for advisors and clients
Education/Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in financial services / annuity specialty / annuity wholesaling
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working an insurance or annuity desk; including policy reviews, sales and operations, ideally within an RIA or financial advisory firm
- Basic understanding of annuity products, including fixed, indexed, variable, and income annuities, as well as their role in financial planning
- Proficiency with relevant tools and software, such as Microsoft Office and quoting platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively
- Active Life and Health insurance licenses
- Active FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7; or willingness to obtain
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the Manager level is $50,700.00 to $71,000.00.
