ANF - Project Manager/Scrum Master
Remote Worker - US Only
Alaska Northstar Federal is currently seeking a Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our high-powered team for a long-term, fully remote opportunity supporting a DoD program with the US Air Force.
The Project Manager/Scrum Master will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Planning, directing, controlling, organizing, and coordinating the work activity of personnel involved in all aspects of this contract.
- Implementing a quality assurance program to ensure services and products conform to applicable standards.
- Formulating statements of management and technical problems.
- Evaluating proposed computer systems to determine technical feasibility, implementation costs, operation costs, and functional adequacy.
- Briefing senior management on project milestones, baselines, and costs.
- Working within Agile SDLC framework to include managing work activity in two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, conducting sprint planning sessions, conducting sprint retrospective sessions, and utilizing sprint tracking software to communicate work activity to stakeholders.
Candidate must be US Citizen
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum
Candidate must have active CompTIA Security+ CE or other applicable active 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Candidate must have 10+ years experience with the following:
- Conducting TIMs and managing migration task lifecycles.
- Scoping, work breakdown, and sprint estimation in the Agile lifecycle.
- Facilitating process retrospectives and driving continuous improvement through BPR methodologies.
- Role-based learning paths and coaching for Agile SDLC processes (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe).
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), including planning, execution, and retrospective processes.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams, and governance bodies.
- Team collaboration skills to work across departments and with customers.
- Managing tickets, facilitating meetings, and leading team efforts to improve customer engagement.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with FIAR and FISCAM
- Experience with Atlassian Toolsuite (e.g., BitBucket, Jira, Confluence)
- Skills in configuring Jira workflows, boards, and issue tracking for Agile SDLC processes.
