THE JOB: Analyst, Learning and Development, People and Culture
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $62,703 - $78,380
Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development Technical Projects, People and Culture, the Analyst will lead a broad range of Learning and Development initiatives in alignment with organizational values, learning programs, and projects. This role will work closely with the entire People and Culture Learning and Development team, providing support through evaluation, data analysis, and reports. The Analyst will develop, track, and evaluate program metrics, creating KPIs for various Learning and Development programs, technical projects, and courses.
This role will need to interface effectively with professionals at all levels and collaborate with the leaders across People and Culture to positively impact employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, operational efficiency, and organizational culture. As a valued contributor to the People and Culture Learning and Development team the Analyst will actively participate in establishing operational goals and objectives to meet desired deliverables.
This role is fast-paced, ever-evolving and challenging, supporting end-user problems, responding quickly and effectively, and reviewing complex problems with team members to ensure appropriate measures are taken. A passion for learning, development, employee engagement, and an innovative lens on software applications and programs is key. The Analyst, Learning and Development is an employee champion and change agent, demonstrating the ability to review data and make innovative suggestions aligned with team goals. The successful incumbent will navigate through an ever-changing landscape, demonstrate active listening, take initiative, and provide a high level of service to the organization.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

- Explains the context of multiple interrelated situations, asks searching, probing questions, and solicits expert advice prior to taking action and making recommendations.
Change Advocate (I):
- Participates in change programs by planning implementation activities with other change champions.
- Interprets the meaning of new strategic directions for the work group and sets objectives and standards.
- Implements monitoring and feedback systems.
- Evaluates progress and finds ways of making continuous improvements.
- Solicits and offers ideas for improving primary business processes. Improves effectiveness and efficiency through the involvement of peers and business partners by initiating new approaches.
Problem Solving (A):
- Diagnoses problems using formal problem-solving tools and techniques from multiple angles and probes underlying issues to generate multiple potential solutions.
- Proactively anticipates and prevents problems.
- Devises, facilitates buy-in, makes recommendations, and guides implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions for complex issues that cross organizational boundaries and are unclear in nature.
- Identifies potential consequences and risk levels.
- Seeks support and buy-in for problem definition, methods of resolution, and accountability.

WHAT YOU BRING
- A University degree in a recognized and related discipline, AND up to 5 years of related experience; OR have an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education
- Superior interpersonal, oral and written communication and relationship management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong ability to translate technical information to various audiences
- Demonstrated experience evaluating the effectiveness of learning activities and determining opportunities for improvement
- Ability to provide strategic consulting and act as a change agent applying creative approaches to support developing a learning culture.
- Excellent judgment in setting priorities, identifying issues and determining action required when working under pressure and deadlines.
- Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects and working with both internal staff and stakeholders in a coordinated manner.
- Strong project management and change management skills to adapt to shifting business needs
- Excellent skills in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal interactions
- Strong analytical skills and ability to apply problem-solving skills with a high degree of tact and diplomacy
- Excellent writing skills and proven ability to develop clear, concise, and comprehensive correspondence and other documents
- Interest and experience in process improvement and evaluation dashboards
- Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback and encourage an open, honest, and positive team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the team
- Effective communication and presentation skills, as well as strong written skills, including proven ability to develop clear, concise and comprehensive reports and other documents.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Apple-based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
