We’re excited to bring on an Enterprise Risk Analyst, to our Chief Risk Office.  You will help support the continued development and implementation of the Lincoln Financial Group's Enterprise Risk Management program.  Working with the lines of business and critical areas within risk will be required to remain effective in this role.  

The goal of this program is to deliver insightful and actionable risk analytics and governance that drive business results. Members of this program help identify, assess, and prioritize risks while developing processes to measure and report such risks throughout the organization.  As part of this role, you will assist with all aspects of Lincoln’s ERM framework but maintain a focus towards the asset side of the balance sheet.

 

What you'll be doing

 

Enterprise Risk Analyst / ERM specific responsibilities

  • Risk Analysis
  • Assist with development, implementation, and improvement of enterprise governance (ex. counterparty) frameworks key to risk mitigation.
  • Complete the quantification, aggregation, and reporting of asset risks in support of enterprise stress testing framework.
  • Perform and update empirical market analysis to support assumption setting process and stochastic scenario generation.
  • Focus towards improving processes and valuations with the aim to improve efficiency and appropriateness.
  • Research and communicate relevant financial analysis on peers.
  • Special Projects
  • Assist with research and development for key initiatives and industry issues (ex. Capital charges, climate change, etc.).
  • Strategically leverage ERM tools to analyze risks of projects and strategic decisions from an enterprise perspective.
  • Relationships and Communication
  • Helps identify, measure, and communicate enterprise risk issues.
  • Establishes effective working relationships throughout the organization, both at the corporate level and within the businesses.
  • Clearly communicates results in a concise and appropriate way.

 

What we’re looking for

 

Must have: 

  • 3-5+ years of financial analysis, engineering, capital markets, and/or modeling
  • Working knowledge of quantitative investment/derivative strategies and risk management
  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in math, business, or another quantitative field
  • Computer skills: 
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with projection software systems 
  • Familiarity with programming languages
  • Familiarity with business visualization tools

 

Nice to Have:

  • Relevant experience in life insurance industry
  • FRM/PRM/CQF or CFA designation

Pay Range: $67,000 - $120,700 

 

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
