Where We Need You:
The People & Culture Business Partner will support our Americas Delivery Center in Blue Ash, Ohio. The Business Partner will align themselves as a day-to-day business partner reporting to the People and Culture Manager. Protiviti works in a hybrid environment and this role requires that you work in-person in our office several times per week.
What You Can Expect:
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you are responsible for delivering on key talent priorities with emphasis on performance management, integration of new hires, benefits administration and employee relations. You will effectively build and manage relationships with the Americas Delivery Center to ensure successful employee development, promotion, and retention. You will possess a solid understanding of the overall business strategy and needs of the office. You must demonstrate excellent customer service, technical ability, and execution of end-to-end projects while developing your own leadership style, decision-making and process improvement skills.
You are responsible for delivering human resources support across the full talent lifecycle for assigned employees. Representative duties are outlined below. In addition, you will participate in broader activities to support regional / national initiatives as required.
What You Will Do:
Developing Talent
Serves as a partner to management on human resource-related issues. Owns employee engagement/nurturing for employees in their designated teams.
Continually stay abreast of the strengths and development needs of professionals to make informed recommendations for attendance at development programs, and on-the-job learning opportunities.
Manage performance issues, investigations, employee relations concerns, and project issues and escalate as appropriate.
Actively engage in the performance management and compensation processes, including reading/analyzing employee engagement evaluations, logging ratings, assistance with performance assessment meetings and ensuring mid-year/annual reviews are timely completed for all employees.
Team with the broader Talent Management group on how to create successful project/office environments (succession planning, rotations, etc.)
HR Support
Investigate and resolve payroll and benefits issues.
Manage employee recognition programs and processes.
Oversee local new hire integration and follow-up on new employees to ensure a smooth assimilation into Protiviti.
Conduct employee exit interviews and document areas for improvement, as well as manage attrition reporting.
Assist with employee actions including new hires, transfers, leaves of absence and terminations.
Be a culture champion within the Americas Delivery Center: Aid in employee network groups, Townhalls, office events, holiday gatherings, and community service/engagement events.
Assist with ad-hoc leadership requests.
Support leadership with HR related reporting requests.

Analysis - this position requires substantial analysis of utilization, availability, compensation, performance and other related talent management data on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
Project management – this position requires the ability to solve problems, understand cause/effect relationships, break initiatives into smaller grouping of tasks, maintain progress against a defined work plan, and follow-through.
Strong track record of credibility with client service leaders
Track record of flexibility and learning agility
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
3-5 years of human resources or a related field, preferably in professional services, and or industry experience
Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
Professional certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred
MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.
5%The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.
$63,000.00 - $94,500.00Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
