Job Summary:

The Allstate Financial Services (AFS) Operational Support Analyst provides prompt, friendly and knowledgeable pre-sale and post-sale service to AFS, LLC customers and representatives. The role maintains high quality of work levels in addition to compliance with FINRA and SEC rules and regulations and serves as a go-to resource for Operations. Broker Dealer experience will be useful in this opportunity. The selected individual will need to be organized, support resources, problem-solve and possess good communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helps support initiatives to explore the use of AI (artificial intelligence) and process efficiencies within the broker dealer
  • Responsible for CAT/CAIS reporting
  • Responds to PFR inquiries from SEC and FINRA
  • Maintains accurate books and records
  • Ensures team members follow proper policies and procedures
  • Responsible for new and on-going product and procedural training and maintenance of job aids and knowledge management systems
  • Works closely with AFS, LLC Communications to inform the field of procedural changes and events
  • Promotes and fosters team collaboration to provide AFS customers outstanding service
  • Searches for facts and provides accurate information 
  • Communicates accurate information about products, services, policies and procedures
  • Ensures brokerage accounts held through NFS are in good order including accurate beneficiary information, fee activity, handling unsecured debit amounts, low-balance clean-up and yearly management

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education and Experience:

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Series 7,24 and 51 or ability to obtain these licenses

Functional Skills:

• Ability to motivate and provide expert-level assistance

• Excellent verbal communication skills, outstanding customer service ability

• Knowledge of securities industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as a team

Compensation offered for this role is $50,000.00-$75,875.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
