Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of PR and Communications to lead our global PR efforts. In this pivotal role, you will shape the public perception of AirDNA, craft compelling narratives for the STR industry using our data, and enhance our reputation as a leader in the short-term rental industry. You will be responsible for securing high-impact media placements, managing inbound and outbound press strategies, and ensuring consistent and strategic communication across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic PR Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global PR strategy that aligns with AirDNA’s business objectives. You will oversee all PR and communications activities, including media relations, thought leadership, and crisis management.
- Media Relations & Coverage: Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media outlets and industry influencers. Secure high-impact media placements, including features in major publications and outlets. Track and report on media coverage to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Thought Leadership: Identify and secure speaking opportunities at key industry conferences. Coordinate speaking event participation to achieve clear objectives and measure success through defined KPIs.
- International Expansion: Lead PR efforts for expanding AirDNA’s presence in new international markets. Adapt messaging and strategies to resonate with local audiences and establish connections with regional media and partners. …
