The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of FAA Air Traffic Office (AJI) customers. SME responsibilities are to ensure technical accuracy of AJI training products, compliance with new training requirements, and to maintain currency of technical information.

Primary Responsibilities

  • The SME will be asked to assist in the planning, creation, assessment, and quality review of and to provide analytical feedback on all types of technical training products, courseware, materials and programs for FAA/AJI customers, employees, or field support personnel.

  • Technical training may include interactive multimedia, asynchronous and synchronous training, and various evaluation methodologies.

  • As part of the development team, the SME obtains information from the customer and technical organizations; engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; creates and reviews lesson plans, course content, training materials and training aids for technical accuracy; and assists in the design and review for technical accuracy of product demonstrations.

Basic Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

  • 10-15 years of FAA Air Traffic Control (ATC) En Route experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Suitability approved by the FAA.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of ERAM systems and SGET.

  • Experience as an ATC instructor and as OJTI facilitator.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00
