What we are looking for
SCS Engineers is looking for an Air Quality Project Manager/Director or Professional to become a long-term asset to our growing Clean Air Act and Air Monitoring capabilities. You will complete technical work, manage contact with clients, and manage the schedule and work product performed consistent within SCS's quality control standards. Your work will support our government and industrial clients. We are open to you being hybrid in any SCS office in California,Oregon, Arizona or Nevada or fully remote.
How you can make an impact
- Air quality permitting and compliance; greenhouse gas emissions compliance; general regulatory compliance; various permitting for government and industrial facility projects.
- Technical work may include air modeling, completing calculations, reviewing compliance issues, preparing permitting documentation, reviewing data, research, and report writing as well as related services.
- Work may also include in field activities, such as field meetings on engineering-related issues, oversight of air monitoring activities, collection of samples, site inspections, etc.
- Client interaction and preparation of proposals will be required on an as needed basis
- Occasional travel will be required
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical, or other related science degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in air quality, air permitting, air compliance, and/or GHG required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or P.E. preferred for engineering candidates
- Experience with Wind Blown Dust Assessment and Controls is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required
Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.Additional Information
