The AI Data Scientist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible implementing AI initiatives within Beckman Coulter across multiple business functions.
This position is part of the Digital Technologies located in Brea,CA and will be Remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Advanced Analytics Team and report to the Sr Manager of Data And Analytics responsible for everything Data. If you thrive in a multifunctional, fast paced role and want to work to build a world-class Data and Analytics organizationâread on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Conducting exploratory data analysis to understand the underlying patterns, trends, and relationships in the data. Create hypotheses and identify potential areas for deeper analysis or modeling.
Develop and evaluate predictive models to solve specific business problems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver insights to business users
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelorâs degree in software engineering, computer science or a similar field with 2+ years of related work experience, OR Masterâs degree with 0-2 years of related work experience.
Proven experience in AI/ML roles with a strong track record of successful AI project implementations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Passion for innovation and a strong desire to drive AI adoption and transformation.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Proficient in ETL and data warehousing concepts.
Experience in Snowflake, Azure, Databricks
