Position Overview

Autodesk Agility coaches on our Digital Customer Experience team (DXC) partner with cross-functional managers and scrum leads to empower teams to meet internal standards and incrementally improve product roadmap, quarterly planning, backlog refinement and scrum performance. You will use your expertise in the full breadth of software delivery.

You will report to the Director, Agile Engineering Transformation working on a team of agility coaches. The goal of our agility coaching team is to lead increased cross-functional performance at multiple levels (director, manager, scrum leads). As a coach on this team, you'll use skills in product strategy, cross-functional design, road mapping, delivery planning, dependency management, defect tracking, scrum and other disciplines to ensure our teams increase agility. You will have a data-centered approach as you guide teams and evaluate outcomes.

The position is open to those within the Pacific to Central time zones. Preference for those located in the Bay Area, California willing to work hybrid/remote with time in office for critical meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Agile Coaching or related

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Product Management, Program Management, Software Development Methods

  • Experience with Data Science, Analytics and Research roles and responsibilities

  • Ability to identify program/project/scrum team improvement needs (by role) and lead incremental improvements

  • Ability to bring competing individuals and ideas together

  • Partner with department heads, functional managers, and team leaders

  • Serve 8-10 scrum teams in one or two domains

  • Expert interpretation of Agility and SQE related metrics

  • Advanced use of JIRA configuration and reporting

  • Excellent skills in the curation of workshop materials, Confluence / Other

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum or Agile certification
