We are currently seeking a Agilist Specialist to join our team in Washington (REMOTE), District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

 

Agile Methods Team Analyst

Seeking an analyst to work with Agile teams as part of the DHS SDD Agile Methods Team. Role requires 5 years of experience working with system development teams. Experience should include at least 1 year of experience working with an agile team and 1 year of experience with Jira or an equivalent tool.

The role is with DHS Headquarters Solutions Development Directorate (SDD) / Architecture, Development, and Platform Technical Services (ADaPTS) / Agile Methods Team (AMT).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support planning, logistics, and execution of training classes as part of Agile training program
  • Work directly with agile teams supporting their implementation of Agile practices to manage flow, visualize work, and create feedback loops
  • Assist in defining, documenting, and visualizing agile and process governance for SDD
  • Develop data and reports enabling executive visibility of work in progress within the organization
  • Facilitate the Agile Methods Team's use of Jira boards and our own Agile practices during weekly planning, daily meetings, and retrospectives

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Holds a four-year degree in an appropriate field or an additional three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • US Citizen.
  • Ability to pass a Public Trust Background Check.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with a system development team or knowledge work team. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with an Agile team.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using Jira or an equivalent tool to visualize the flow of work on an agile team. Examples include Businessmap (formerly Kanbanize), NimbleWork SwiftKanban, Microsoft Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow's Agile configuration. Candidate may be asked to demonstrate setting up a Jira project.
  • Must pass test for Scrum.org's Professional Scrum Master I (PSM-I) certification.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Miro or Mural is a plus.
  • Experience with process modeling and measurement is helpful.

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is Min: $77,040 - Max: $160,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
