Summary:
The Agency Bill Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the agency bill accounting processes within the Property & Casualty vertical, from administering and tracking client receivables to remitting carrier premium payments, for all agencies within the Applied Epic system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the accounts receivable process for all clients across all agencies
Enter client payments into Applied Epic (lockbox, online payments, ACH/wires, finance company) to the appropriate client policy based on the remittance. This includes communication with agencies when payments amounts do not match up.
Assist with bank deposits when necessary, including using the bank’s remote scanner
Assist with the accounts payable process for all carriers and brokers across all agencies by preparing payment reconciliation within Applied Epic.
Track client receivable accounts to ensure timely collection of premium payments and payments to carriers and brokers.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively across multiple internal functional groups
Ability to make accurate, independent decisions based on data provided
Education, Training and Experience:
Experience in property and casualty insurance brokerage operations preferable
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $20 to $27 per hour.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
