Afterschool nanny/babysitter

Our daughter gets off the bus at ~2:15 pm on Monday and ~3:40 Tuesday - Friday. The bus stop is about a five minute walk from our house. So at minimum, the start time would be however long it takes before those times to arrive at the house and walk to bus stop. We would appreciate coverage to 5 pm, but can be flexible and also discuss alternate schedules like just Monday, Monday- Wednesday, Monday-Thursday, or other variations. Monday is most critical.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Looking for someone to watch our 5 year old daughter after school Monday - Friday in our home. She gets off the bus at ~2:15 pm on Monday and ~3:40 Tuesday - Friday, so looking at 1-3 hours a day depending. The job will most likely turn into cuddling/playing outside/playing games/doing crafts and helping her have some snacks once she’s comfortable. We don’t have pets and work remotely/hybrid, so there is often an adult at home who is usually in meetings. Bonus points for someone who likes to cook and/or run around with an active kiddo! We would appreciate coverage to 5 pm, but can be flexible and also discuss alternate schedules like just Monday, Monday- Wednesday, Monday-Thursday, or other variations. Monday is most critical. Location is west Madison near Middleton off University Ave. Pay negotiable, but we are planning for $21+/hr depending on experience and circumstances.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with nannying/babysitting
• CPR/first aid certification is preferred
• Non-smoker
