We are seeking a Commodity Management and Sourcing Specialist to lead and execute our sourcing strategies for the Power and Controls Engineered Items Commodity. In this role, you will secure competitive quotations, conduct in-depth bid analysis, and recommend top suppliers. You'll also handle contract awards and extensions, cultivate robust supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and drive substantial cost savings.

What You Will Do 

• Develop and implement commodity and supplier strategies to align with business unit and company goals. 

• Conduct RFQs and analyze bids. 

• Lead contract negotiations. 

• Collaborate with Operational Procurement, Engineering, and Program Management. 

• Support buy-to-buy projects and work transfer initiatives. 

• Assist in creating comprehensive commodity and supplier strategies. 

• Forecast potential issues and spending for assigned suppliers. 

• Drive special projects with suppliers and cross-functional teams. 

Qualifications You Must Have 

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience 

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62  

Qualifications We Prefer 

• Experience with electronics or engineered items commodities. 

• Proven project management experience. 

• Proficiency in SAP. 

• Familiarity with Tableau.
