Job Description

This position is based in Rahway, NJ. Under the guidance of a Director, Global Project and Alliance Management (GPAM), the core responsibilities of this role include and are not limited to the following:

  • Handles general administrative duties.

  • Work requires the coordination and performance of multiple tasks while understanding the project principles and technical skills related to own work assignments.

  • Produces/completes various work assignments requiring advanced analytical ability, independent judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

  • Develops reports, presentations, tables, graphs, correspondence, and conducts light research using appropriate software.

  • Works in teams or independently as needed and as relevant to complete work assignments and various tasks.

  • Works on calendar scheduling/planning; coordinating

  • Communication skills must be at a level to effectively interact with executives and internal/external clients to maintain workflow.

  • Coordinates special projects.

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: 

  • Advanced education or certifications such as (e.g. Certified Administrative Professional, Project Management Professional Certification, Professional in Human Resources Certification)

 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of (5) years Administrative Assistant experience

  • Advanced computer skills using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.) and operation of other peripheral devices

  • Demonstrated experience scheduling and coordinating meetings

  • SAP experience: Expense Reports; Purchase Orders and Payment Requests; Vendor Add Forms

  • Professional communication skills

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of (3) years Executive Administrative experience supporting executives (Associate Director, Director, Executive Director, VP or above)
