Job Summary:

Provides administrative support in a variety of functions to a department head, team, or another group in an organization.

Collects, reviews, and analyzes complex and/or confidential data and prepares correspondence, reports, and collections of complainant materials. Responds to or route routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging.

Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Reports to a supervisor or manager. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

• Performs specialized administrative work in the area of compliance including research, collection of evidence for formal hearings and judicial review actions, audits of patient records, drug and inventory records, infectious disease compliance, and insurance records

• Responsible for timeliness, accuracy, and quality of work, while maintaining a file database of disciplinary / non-disciplinary action ordered by the Board

• Organize and maintain a filing system for administrative matters issued by the Board and in compliance with the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records

• Responsible for meeting requirements mandated by Arizona Law pertinent to the investigative process, and taking appropriate action concerning confidentiality issues pertinent to the complaint process and chain of custody

• Tracks and verifies Orders issued by the Board for payment of restitution, completion of continuing education hours, payment of civil and/or administrative penalties, and follow-up of licensees who are non-compliant

• Ability to answer incoming calls and respond to emails, while providing excellent customer service internally and externally

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge:

• Agency state statutes and rules, regulations and operating procedures, and some accounting

Skills:

• Oral and written communication. Google G Suite Docs, Sheets, Meet, Drive, Forms and Calendar

Abilities:

• Plan, analyze, coordinate activities and establish priorities, develop effective operating procedures

Selective Preference(s):

• Three years of administrative experience
