Adjunct Faculty-Extended Education Campus-Corporate Training Instructor

University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global), a private nonprofit affiliate of the University of Massachusetts, is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). UMass Global (formerly Brandman University) offers nationally recognized academic programs for the nontraditional learner fully online and through UMass Global MyPath, its self-paced online competency-based education.

The School of Extended Education is seeking qualified Corporate Training Instructors to facilitate professional development programs in-person, virtually, or via webinar. Programs vary in length but are generally 1-4 hours. Instructors may be scheduled to train multiple times per month. Candidates do not need to have expertise in all of our service areas to successfully fill this position.

Our Services Include:

• Leadership and management skills training - examples include, but are not limited to: conflict resolution, leading change, communication, team development, performance management, etc.

• Individual Coaching for executives, leaders, onboarding, and transition, and Team Coaching

• Organizational development consulting- examples include, but are not limited to: organizational change management, strategic planning, process improvement, organizational design, cultural transformation, succession planning

• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training

Instructional Duties:

• Provide an appropriate learning environment and materials to ensure participants can master the stated learning outcomes and meet the client’s needs

• Submit course materials to the School of Extended Education no later than two weeks prior to the session

• Occasional travel may be required depending on client needs

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience with facilitating/training for corporate clients, both online and in-person

• Experience in coaching

• Expertise in leadership and management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification to deliver and debrief a variety of leadership assessments such as: DiSC, MBTI, SDI, TKI

Compensation:

• $125.00 per hour for instructional time

• Non-instructional time may be compensated at a different rate, as outlined in the Extended Education Adjunct Compensation Policy
