How you’ll contribute: 
As an Actuarial Assistant, you’ll be a part of the Actuarial Development Program (ADP) which is designed for individuals who are interested in pursuing an actuarial career and obtaining the FSA designation.  

 

Our actuarial department is currently recruiting multiple roles for the 2025 ADP rotational program and this individual will typically rotate assignments every 24 months. Study time, membership dues, exam fees, and materials will be paid by the company in accordance with the Actuarial Development Program policy.    

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Provide Actuarial support for annuities and life insurance products
  • Commit to both work and studying with a goal of completing all ASA or FSA exams
  • Be on a Two-year rotation schedule supporting the various business units
  • Provide actuarial assistance in modeling, pricing, valuation, and risk

 

We’re looking for people who have: 

  • Pursuing undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or other analytical major
  • Passed a minimum of 1 actuarial exam for the Society of Actuaries
  • Intermediate computing and programming skills in 1 or more of the following: Python, Matlab, Excel, R, VBA, SQL, etc.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn
  • Can adjust work resources and deadlines in response to changing business priorities
  • Sound business judgment skills (decision-making and problem solving)

What you’ll receive:

  • Compensation – Candidates for this role can be hired at the Actuarial Assistant or Actuarial Associate level. Level and salary to be commensurate with exam progress. 
    • Assistant Level (1-3 Exams): Base salary ranging from $72,000 to $82,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
    • Associate Level (4+ Exams): Base salary ranging from $82,000 to $95,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
