The Opportunity

Ulteig has an outstanding opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our engaging and collaborative team. In this role, the Accounts Payable Specialist will maintain financial records, prepare and process transactions, and assist in maintaining information according to established policies and procedures to ensure accurate accounting records.

 

What You'll Do

  • Working knowledge of accounting processes and systems.  Prepares and processes transactions and reports; completes Accounts Payable and Employee Expense accounting functions, including review of vendor and employee expense records, and conflict resolution with vendors and employees.
  • Assists with the set up and maintenance of vendor records and information, including review, identification of errors and recommendations on setup.
  • Provides reporting and information to external business partners and internal employees and management; ability to identify errors and make corrections.
  • Prepares periodic and ad hoc Accounts Payable and Employee Expense reporting and tax information; works with the requester to identify reporting needs.
  • Assists with Balance Sheet account maintenance.
  • Assists with monitoring of policies, systems, and processes, including process development and implementation.
  • Assists with checks, invoices, statements, purchase orders, credit card maintenance, and other related tasks.

 

What We Expect From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or Associate’s degree in accounting or related field, prior related experience is preferred
  • Basic knowledge in accounting procedures and standards
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle confidential matters related to daily business operations
  • Strong organizational/follow-up skills and attention to detail
  • Must be proactive and able to identify and act on company financial needs
  • Must possess well-rounded knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures of associated industry
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to be organized, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines by setting priorities
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $ 63,500
