Position Summary

We are looking for an Accounting Manager for HeyGen. You will play a significant role across accounting, audit, tax, and own the AP/AR function for a high growth GenAI startup. You will serve as a trusted partner to the Head of Finance, and have the opportunity to gain exposure to other elements of the business over time.

Core Responsibilities

The Heygen Accounting Team is responsible for all aspects of the financial, statutory and internal reporting processes, financial systems, internal controls and business support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform month end accounting processes to support rapid global growth
• Own all aspects of AR and AP, including billing and invoicing
• Potential to perform month end activities and grow into other task and process to take on further responsibilities
• Be a self starter and seek to standardize and centralize tasks 
• Assist in the annual audit and help coordinate with tax and other outside parties

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Having both startup and public accounting experience is a plus
• Have a BA/BS or equivalent in accounting or related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
• Have a history of process improvements for accounting operations
• Have the ability to articulate accounting needs to non-accountants
• Ability to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirements

Bonus points 

• Experience at a high growth B2B SaaS business, with bonus points for self-serve models
• Experience with SQL

Salary Range
$100,000 – 120,000 annually
