Job Summary:

This position provides financial oversight for the Office of Economic Opportunity, Arizona Finance Authority and the Greater Arizona Development Authority, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and organizational policies. Responsibilities include managing complex grant-funded projects, monitoring budgets with unique guidelines, and coordinating financial activities to support organizational objectives.

Key duties include budget oversight, expenditure monitoring, fiscal transactions, revenue management, and financial reporting. This role ensures funding availability, processes financial approvals, and supports budget close-outs. Additionally, the position gathers data for legislative and policy inquiries and assists with internal and external audits. Strong organization, accuracy, and communication with stakeholders are essential.

Job Duties:

• Ensure compliance with the Arizona State Accounting Manual, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and all applicable state and federal regulations

• Collaborate with the Finance Administrator to prepare for audits and respond to internal and external documentation requests
