What You’ll Do
This role involves providing financial reporting and analytical support to help achieve annual goals, collaborating with leadership to analyze business activity, and developing financial models. The Accounting Systems Analyst will be a key resource in implementing a new ERP system, responsible for leading the search and evaluating different platforms, testing the system, through implementation and adoption in the organization. This role will also ensure timely and accurate financial statements, reconcile accounts, and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests. Additionally, they will be expected to communicate with internal stakeholders and external clients, including auditors, while maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring compliance with deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly reporting and analytical support to measure and maintain annual financial goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership, finance, and other team members to analyze, align, and report business activity, developing financial models and internal reports.
  • Lead the search, testing and implementation of a new ERP system, including testing, data migration, process design, and creating user documentation.
  • Post accurate journal entries, ensuring all supporting documentation is organized and attached in the general ledger system.
  • Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and communicate professionally with internal and external clients, including auditors, within set deadlines.

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a Staff Accountant and Systems Analyst.
  • Prior experience in implementing a new ERP system.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data modeling are essential. In addition, experience with BI360, MS Dynamics Great Plains, and Salesforce are helpful but not required.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases is required, including the ability to create reports linking fields from various tables.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and project management capabilities..

Compensation
Certain US jurisdictions require ghSMART to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. We are built on a culture of freedom and flexibility, we operate fully remotely, and our team members balance deeply energizing, high intensity work, with flexible schedules to support life outside of work. Our compensation model reflects these values. Compensation for this role in the United States includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution, and a comprehensive benefits package. You should reasonably expect a base salary of $87,000 - $110,000. In addition, we offer an annual competitive performance bonus and the opportunity to buy equity in our fully team owned firm. Apply
