We are seeking an Accountant Energy - Remote. This remote position is based out of our Richland, WA office.

How will you contribute to the team?  

  • Prepares bills in a timely manner in accordance with government, project, and client requirements.

  • Ensures appropriate revenue recognition for General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) purposes.

  • Prepares, examines or analyzes accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

  • Supports external and internal audits and due diligence requirements.

  • Assists in identifying areas needing cost effectiveness or efficiency improvements and identifying problems with waste, fraud, and abuse.

  • Performs reconciliations and analysis for assigned balance sheet accounts.

  • Participates in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.

  • Assists with preparation of internal management reporting and other ad hoc reporting requests.

  • There is no supervision of others work at this level.

  • Responsible for moderately complex accounting activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute? 

  • Bachelor's degree required in accounting or similar field.

  • Minimum 3 years general accounting, non-profit and/or government project accounting and billing experience.

  • Strong attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.

  • Working knowledge of general ledger functions and US GAAP.
