The wage for this position is $21/hr or $43,680 annually

The Role

Guidant Financial is looking for a Remote Account Representative I. Our Account Representatives support small business owners who utilize our 401(k) plan administration services. A large part of the role is taking inbound client calls, answering questions, and assisting clients in resolving 401(k) plan related issues. The role also requires reviewing the documents submitted by our clients and proactively updating the system to reflect all changes. Collaboration is required with other members on the team, such as Plan Administrators and Compliance Specialists, to get clients 5500 filings, distribution requests, loan requests, and other documents completed in a timely manner.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a queue of cases and respond within a defined time frame
  • Develop a basic understanding of retirement plans, specifically 401(k) Plans
  • Ability to complete tasks independently while also collaborating within your team and department
  • Advise clients of internal processes and assist clients with navigating multiple systems
  • Obtain and analyze documents submitted by clients for accuracy

Additional Functions

  • Assist clients and team members on advanced retirement plan topics including terminations
  • Contributing to department and team projects
  • Performs other duties as required
