Account Manager- Agricultural Energy Efficiency
Bakersfield, CA | Field-Based (Can be located anywhere within the Central Valley)
Job Description:
To facilitate program enhancement and growth, we are seeking an Account Manager to recruit farmers and installing contractors and to conduct project quality assessments in accordance with utility program standards; educate farmers about incentives available from the program for their construction projects; and assist in the review and processing of applications, project documents and reports. Will be field based and include travel within the southern California central valley.

What you will be doing:
Conduct energy assessments on farm sites, entering fields, barns and greenhouses
Collect project documentation from customers
Complete detailed and accurate data collection and measurements and enter the data in the utility modeling and project tracking software
Interact with installation contractors, answering questions regarding energy efficiency and recommend next steps
Contribute to the evolution of program strategies and the design of program features and services
Contribute to the deployment of program marketing and outreach campaigns
Coordinate with or schedule QA/QC activities such as field inspections
Prepare summary reports identifying opportunities found during visit
Recruit Builders to participate in a Utility rebate program.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
High School Diploma
8+ years working in the fields of energy efficiency, utilities, agriculture or a related field
OR
Bachelor’s degree in energy, sustainability, business or a related field
5+ years working in the fields of energy efficiency, utilities, agriculture or a related field
AND
Able to lift boxes no heavier than 30 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, driving, walking, standing, above head arm movements
Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
What we would like you to have:
Experience working in the agricultural industry around California
Experience with project tracking software
Understanding of building science applications or construction background
Experience with the new construction market in California
Advanced knowledge of agricultural energy-efficient technologies
Customer service and/or sales conversion experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
