Pay Range:

$95,900.00 - $157,700.00

The Account Executive will drive sales and expand the reach of Bio-Techne’s Spatial Biology product line. This role focuses on providing cutting-edge solutions for visualizing, characterizing, and quantifying tissue transcriptomic profiles in single-cell biology, neuroscience, oncology, infectious disease, and gene therapy. The position fosters innovation and collaboration to address customer needs and advance science.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic territory and account-specific sales plans.

Prospect and generate new customer leads with a hunter mentality.

Deliver technical and scientific presentations on Spatial Biology Division products.

Consult with customers on Advanced Cell Diagnostics product portfolio applications.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at various organizational levels.

Demonstrate scientific knowledge to drive collaborative sales processes.

 Accurately forecast sales and maintain Salesforce.com records.

 Represent new technology and the ACD brand effectively in the marketplace.

Partner cross-functionally to address diverse customer needs.

 Actively support team goals and contribute to company success.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Molecular Biology or related life science field.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of field-based life science sales experience.
  • Experience in the Texas Medical Center (TMC Houston) region preferred.
  • Knowledge of RNA sequencing, transcriptomics, and molecular biology fundamentals.
  • Goal-oriented, competitive, and persistent with a focus on new customer recruitment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily field-based with regular travel within the Texas Medical Center region.
  • Flexibility to work remotely as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Capability to transport and set up demonstration equipment.
