2025 US Medical Affairs Health Systems Oncology Internship

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. 

Our Research & Development Division is currently recruiting for a summer intern for the U.S. Medical Affairs Health Systems Oncology (HSO) team. The intern in this position will gain a broad understanding of Medical Affairs and access/reimbursement in US Health Systems (e.g., payers, integrated delivery networks) across the entire Company oncology portfolio through collaborative leadership experiences.  The intern will partner with HSO colleagues to develop and update listening priorities, review and share insights with key internal stakeholders, and contribute to resource and training planning of the HSO field team.  In addition, the intern will monitor for updates to both internal and competitor data, healthcare landscape changes and regulatory action across the oncology portfolio to appropriately update the HSO Field Engagement Plans.  The intern will gain valuable experience in working within a matrixed organization of several internal stakeholders.  Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals across departments to learn more about their roles in the company. This position would best suit someone with an interest in the oncology therapeutic area, market access/managed care principles, and medical affairs. 

Education:

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a degree in Pharmacy, or a doctorate level clinical/ health science degree

  • Candidates must be returning to school in Fall 2025

Required Experience / Qualities:

  • Candidates must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks from end of May/early June – August 2025

  • Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)

  • Candidates must be self-driven and hard-working

  • Candidates must have excellent verbal and written skills

  • Candidates must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Candidates must have ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and / or managed care

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

 $39,600.00 - $105,500.00
