Job Description
The Future Talent Program features Cooperative (Co-op) education that lasts up to 6 months and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals
This co-op position will play a pivotal role in supporting and learning from Quantitative Biosciences' (in vivo) endeavors to progress multiple pipeline targets for diseases including oncology and cardiovascular disease.
As part of this role, the co-op will actively contribute to gaining a deeper understanding of the mechanisms and conducting pharmacological assessments of critical disease pathways. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge in pharmacology, experimental design, animal handling, and ex vivo techniques, including primary cell culture and ELISAs.
Moreover, the successful candidate will engage in close collaboration with various key functional areas across our Research & Development Division to gain a comprehensive understanding of the drug discovery process.
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Candidate must be a college sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a BS degree in biology or related discipline.
Basic laboratory skills and proficiencies.
The ability to effectively communicate scientific information.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Some in vivo-animal handling experience.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00
