Position Overview:

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities within the Human Health Digital, Data, and Analytics (HHDDA) team can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

Our HHDDA team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of communicating, measuring, and interacting with our customers and patients while leveraging digital, data and analytics and measuring the impact.

Our company’s HIV Global Commercial Pipeline Analytics group is seeking a summer intern to provide data analytics support and generate strategic insights. These insights will help to address open business questions and drive decision making. Due to the position of this team, you will also gain exposure to a variety of other functions such as Marketing, Market Research, and Forecasting.

We are seeking intern candidates at with strong academic performance,

communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in a multi-functional environment.

Learning opportunities for the prospective intern are:

  • Professional Development: The intern will gain hands-on experience in analytics and stakeholder management in a professional setting.

  • Pharmaceutical Acumen: The intern will develop a general understanding of pharmaceutical product strategy considerations, the HIV therapeutic area, and build their relevant vocabulary.

  • Contribution to an Innovative Project: The intern will contribute to a meaningful project with practical real-world application.

  • Networking Opportunities: The intern will have the opportunity to work with a team of professionals and experts, building a strong network and potential references for their future career.

Location: Rahway, NJ

Education:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA or MS degree

  • Candidates must have completed at least two (2) years of studies towards a Bachelor’s degree by June 2025

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates must be available to work full-time, on-site, for 10 – 12 weeks beginning June of 2025

  • Strong communication skills using effective story-telling grounded on data insights

  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to process technical information and translate clearly and concisely to broad audiences

  • Innovative thinking with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk-taking

  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience using data visualization software such as Power BI / Qlik / Spotfire or other BI technologies

  • Experience and knowledge in ETL process, data modeling techniques, and platforms (Alteryx, Informatica, Dataiku, etc.)

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

 

Expected salary range:

$39,600.00-$105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
