Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that lasts up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research & Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

Selected individuals will support strategic, digital, and continuous improvement projects related to clinical trial operations enablement such as eSource (Data Exchange from Electronic Health Records), Business Intelligent Automation (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Robotic Process Automation) and other value-added eClinical capabilities. The successful candidate will assist with special projects, analyze and evaluate processes for potential automation, and propose innovative resolutions, including but not limited to the development of departmental deliverables such as SharePoint site, playbooks, best practices, and so on while working alongside experienced members of the cross-functional project team.

Clinical Data Management is the practice of defining, designing, implementing, investigating, cleaning end ensuring that data collected in support of the needs of a clinical research trial satisfy the analysis and reporting requirements necessary to satisfy (regulatory requirements) of the planned Clinical Study Report. As part of the Global Data Management and Standards organization, the eClinical Technologies intern position will expose the student to new emerging technologies and innovations in the clinical trial operations, and both a deep dive into the discipline of Data Management and also various other fields in the practice of Clinical Development.  

Required Education & Experience:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program, in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) or similar major.

  • Candidates must have completed at least two (2) full years of an undergraduate degree prior to the start of this position.

  • Candidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025

  • Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Candidates must have strong document management and organizational skills.

  • Candidates must have initiative, leadership, and ownership of deliverables.

  • Candidates must be a self-starter, fast-learner, and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Candidates must be able to manage and independently drive assignments to completion.

  • Candidates must have proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Candidates should be self-motivated, excellent in work planning and time management.

  • Candidates should have a demonstrated record of strong academic achievement, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Candidates should be able to work under pressure and in a changing environment with flexibility.

  • Candidates should have good communication skills, and be able to communicate in both technical and business areas.

  • Candidates should have familiarity with medical terminology.

Expected salary range:

$39,600.00-$105,500.00
